Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 July 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are a contract between you and PerpLedger (“we”, “us”), operated from the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you don’t agree, don’t use PerpLedger.
2. What PerpLedger is (and isn't)
PerpLedger is a journaling and analytics tool for perpetual-futures traders. It reads publicly available trading data associated with wallet addresses you prove you control, and stores the notes and reviews you write.
PerpLedger is not an exchange, broker, custodian, wallet, or investment adviser. It never holds funds, never has access to your private keys, and cannot execute trades. Nothing in the product — including statistics, analytics, and output from AI features — is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and legally able to use the service where you live. You are responsible for ensuring that your trading activity, and your use of any exchange PerpLedger connects to, complies with the laws that apply to you.
4. Your account
Your account is identified by your wallet address, and access is granted by wallet signature. You are responsible for the security of your wallet; anyone who controls it controls the journal attached to it. We may offer a read-only demo account for evaluation; demo data is illustrative and periodically reset.
5. Trading risk & AI output
Trading perpetual futures involves a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Analytics are computed from data supplied by third-party exchanges and may be incomplete or delayed. AI coach responses are automated pattern analysis of your own history — they can be wrong, and they are not recommendations to buy, sell or hold anything. All decisions you make remain entirely yours.
6. Your content
You own the content you create in PerpLedger. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it — solely to operate the service for you (including sending it to an AI provider when you use AI features). You can export your journal at any time and delete it permanently from Settings.
7. Acceptable use
Don’t attempt to breach, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service; don’t use it to store unlawful content; don’t resell access or misrepresent demo data as real performance. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.
8. Plans and billing
PerpLedger has a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Card subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically; you can cancel any time and keep Pro until the end of the paid period. USDC payments purchase a fixed period of Pro and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. During beta we may make paid features available for free; that’s a courtesy, not a commitment.
9. Beta service, changes and availability
PerpLedger is beta software. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn, and availability is not guaranteed. We’ll be sensible about it — export exists precisely so your data is never trapped — but you accept that a beta product comes with rough edges.
10. Intellectual property
The PerpLedger software, design and branding are ours. These terms don’t grant you any rights in them beyond using the service.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses, loss of profits, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales.
12. Termination
You can stop using PerpLedger and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms; where practical we’ll give you an opportunity to export your data first.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. For material changes we’ll notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — except where the consumer law of your country of residence gives you additional, non-waivable rights.
